Plot Proposal Outline
If you are interested in running a
plot, we have included an
optional outline to help you get a better idea of the kinds of
information we
would like.
You are not
in any way obligated to use this outline – it’s simply
a tool for those who like a little guidance.
- GMs:
Who
is GMing? Are you GMing on your own? Is someone helping you?
- Scheduling:
When is your plot starting? How long is it going to run?
Do you have a general timeline? (You don't necessarily need one, but
some people like to have one.)
- Overview:
In a paragraph, give us the basic run down of your
plot. It doesn't have to be a big paragraph. Just tell us what the idea
is. Do you see any big events in it, or a bunch of smaller scenes?
- Scale:
How
many characters will your plot be written for? 5? 10? Everyone?
- Location:
Where is your plot going to be? Will it span multiple locations, or
will it all be in sunny Tahiti?
- Resources:
What
do you need staff to approve? Do you need us to
approve the existence of a secret mutant cloning facility? Do you need
us to approve the existence of a mutant with bizarre powers? Do you
need us to build you a secret underground lab? If you want a few rooms
for your plot, you can absolutely ask!
- Impact:
What impact will this plot have on the game at large? Is
it going to leave a lasting impression or change something big?
