The Shaw Research Center for Mutant Studies is in the vanguard of mutant research studies. Paradoxically founded and funded by the public mutant bigot Sebastian Shaw, the Center serves a think tank employing people from a wide range of disciplines, from biology and physics to politics and civil engineering to sociology and psychology. They study every aspect of the mutant phenomenon, and have become one of the leading think tanks in the field. Their security is at the very top of the line.
